Sheryl’s extensive career incudes Contract Administrator at TAG Company (Manhattan, NY), Administrative Assistant for the Sales and Marketing Department at Uniland Development Company, Human Resources Manager at SofTrek Corporation, and most recently, Human Resources Generalist at the Embassy Suites-Buffalo,
Sheryl best describes herself as a life-long learner starting her HR career with an Associate’s Degree in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business, Management and Economics with a Concentration in Human Resources. She is a long-standing member of SHRM and BNHRA and enjoys attending seminars, especially the legal updates, to keep current with the complexities of NYS laws and meet with other human resource professionals to share knowledge and solutions in the workplace.
“The highlight of my career is my current position at the Embassy Suites-Buffalo. My four week assignment led to a full time position that has lasted four years and still inspires me every day. At the hotel, I get to meet people from around the world and do not have to leave my office. I best describe this experience as traveling the world through people. The pins in my map on the wall remind me of the hotel guests and employees that have shared stories about their homelands, families and experiences. Our staff can be best described as family.
