What We Do
Being a member of BNHRA.
BNHRA started in 1974 as a small group of local personnel managers and university professors who wanted to build a community with peers. More than 50 years later, that mission is stronger than ever. Today the chapter represents 300+ members across every industry in WNY. Our Membership Director, with the support of the Board of Directors, oversees the following:

Managing renewals, in-transition memberships, and special-case packages

Working with the College Relations committee to bring in student members

BNHRA membership and SHRM membership are separate.
We're a SHRM-affiliated chapter, but joining BNHRA doesn't automatically make you a national SHRM member. We strongly encourage dual membership — being in both puts considerably more resources in your corner. First-time SHRM members can bundle both for $379. See pricing.
