The Cost of Conflict and Toxic Employees on Your Organization and How Human Resources Professionals Can Help

This training focuses on ways that Human Resources professionals can work with employees and managers on how to effectively resolve conflict in the workplace. It uncovers how pervasive conflict is, as well as the actual cost of conflict to organizations, whether it be time, money, productivity, or employees. This presentation defines and gives examples of workplace bullying and toxic employees. Next, the presentation dives into some of the most common causes of conflict to help identify preventative measures that Human Resource professionals can take. Lastly, the presentation outlines Charles Cotter's, PhD., five effective methods for resolving conflict depending on the situation.

About our speaker:
Lindsey A. Zajac is an experienced, Human Resources professional with a demonstrated history of excelling in fast-paced organizations including PepsiCo, Eaton Corporation, Saab Sensis and Next Jump. Training and Development, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Recruiting, and Succession Planning are Lindsey’s areas of expertise. Most recently, Lindsey was employed with PepsiCo as a Senior Human Resources Manager in Buffalo, NY supporting the largest market in the country. In this role, Lindsey was responsible for providing Human Resources support for 1,100 union & non-union frontline associates and managers across nine Upstate NY locations. Lindsey served as a Strategic Business Partner with the PepsiCo Upstate NY Leadership team.
