Protecting Company Proprietary Information When Crossing the Border

On January 4, 2018, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a new directive on how officers can handle electronic device searches at the border. This program will discuss what employees need to know about protecting sensitive company and client information held in electronic devices. The speaker will explore Fourth Amendment rights at the border, CBP search methods, and how the new CBP directive may impact a company’s employees.
