    BNHRA Meeting: Finance for the human resources professional

    Learning objectives are:

    1. How to interpret basic finance documents/concepts
    2. How to apply these concepts to HR matters within organizations (e.g., succession planning/headcount)
    3. What finance professionals typically need from HR (how to be a strategic partner)

      Denise Gueli, CPA, Partner

    Denise is a partner in the firm’s Commercial division. She has a strong background in a number of industries and has helped many clients, both large and small, maximize their business potential. She has assisted clients with analysis of overall profitability and development of action plans for the future.       Stephen C. Turner, CPA, Principal 

    Stephen is a principal at Bonadio in the commercial department. He is responsible for audit, review, compilation, and bookkeeping engagements for various entities, including auto dealerships, manufacturers, construction companies, and assisted living facilities.
    Additionally, he is responsible for the audits of numerous employee benefit plans, including defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, employee stock ownership plans and health & welfare plans. Stephen's experience also includes the preparation of individual and corporate tax returns.
    Steve joined the firm in 2008, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from SUNY University at Buffalo. Steve is a graduate of the Batiste Leadership Development Program, serves on the Board of Directors of the University District Community Development Agency, and is the Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Artpark.
